Renowned as one of the best guitar players in Rock history, Slash will be performing in Istanbul on February 2nd 2012 with his new project currently touring “Slash Feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators”.
Best known to be Guns N’ Roses’ former guitarist, he gained worlwide success until this day. During the release of his solo album in May 2012, “Apocalyptic Love” he got the chance to work with an iconic vocal in the rock’n roll world who is also the lead vocal of Alter Bridge, Myles Kennedy. SLASH has once again taken the center stage in the rock music world with his new project. The group also consists of Bobby Schneck on rhythm guitar, Todd Kerns on bass, and Brent Fitz on drums as The Conspirators.
The superstar guitarist received his fame as being the lead guitarist to Guns N’ Roses. His Gibson Les Paul guitar, curly hair and top hat has distinguished him from others for many years. He has had many influences in his work from Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton to Jimi Hendrix and many other blues names. He has also collaborated with famous names from Michael Jackson to Fergie, Ozzy Osbourne, Lenny Kravitz, Motörhead and even Rihanna. Slash has received critical acclaim as a guitarist. Time Magazine named him runner-up on their list of "The 10 Best Electric Guitar Players" in 2009.
