EVTEKS, Istanbul Home Textile Exhibition, organized by the CNR International Trade Fairs Inc., an affiliate of the CNR Holding, in collaboration with the Association for Turkish Home Textile Industrialists and Businessmen (TETSIAD), took place between 16-20 May 2012 at the CNR Expo Center in Istanbul. The fair opened its door on May 16 for 5 days and hosted approximately 1,000 exhibitor companies together with 119,000 visitors.
Ceyda Erem, CNR Holding President, gave information regarding EVTEKS, said that EVTEKS ranked as the second worldwide fair in home textile industry both in terms of venue and trade capacity. Erem added that “During EVTEKS purchasers made new orders of more than 1 billion dollars. With the commercial added value it created, EVTEKS is among the most important expert exhibitions worldwide. The world keeps a close eye on the fair due to its popularity in terms of the variety of exhibited products, the new trends of the textile industry presented and the density of the trade relationships generated by the participants both as visitors and exhibitors.'
