One of the most qualified representatives of Turkish rock music, Duman takes its name from the song ”Halimiz Duman” which appeared in the album Eski Koprunun Altinda. Concentrating on their concert performances with the debut of the first album, the group succeeded to have adherent fans very soon. In October 2002, Duman continued to its musical journey with the release of the second album Belki Alisman Lazim. While their covers of the songs “Bu Aksam" and “Her seyi Yak” made the group a renowned rock band through the country, Duman brought new dimensions to rock performance with its authentic style seen on the original vocals and music. July 2005 saw the release of the third album Seni Kendime Sakladim which received great acclaim. In the 2 CD Live album Canli, including the songs “Dibine Kadar”, “Sarhos”, “Elleri Ellerime” and “Haberin Yok Oluyorum”, the group covered Burhan Bilgin’s “Sen Yoksun Diye” which Erkin Koray performed long since and Asik Veysel’s “Kara Toprak”. Already standing for to be a cult group combining modern rock stile with traditional background of Turkey, Duman will give their fans pleasant moments with much admired vocals of Kaan Tangoze.
