11th International Trade Fair for Food Processing Technologies

10th FOTEG ISTANBUL 2012, the International Trade Fair for Food Processing Technologies which was held between 1 - 4 March 2012 at the Istanbul Expo Center, in Halls 1 and 2, hosted 653 exhibitors from 38 countries. By the closing day of the fair, most of the exhibitors had already committed to the 2013 trade fair. FOTEG ISTANBUL 2013 will take place as planned next year, from 7 to 10 March 2013 at Istanbul Expo Center.
The official opening of the event was launched by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Chairman, Tanil Küçük and the General Manager of HKF Trade Fairs, Mr. Bekir Çakici. Organized by HKF Trade Fairs, FOTEG ISTANBUL 2012 celebrated its 10th anniversary with this edition, gathered the food processing industry professionals together at the same venue from Turkey and abroad.
FOTEG ISTANBUL is the first and only food processing technologies fair of Istanbul and displaying everything about the food processing industry on 21.000 square meters exhibition space. This event encloses all of the areas of the food processing industry, namely food packaging, food ingredients and additives, bakery technologies, food safety and food hygiene. FOTEG ISTANBUL is an effective business platform with its wide content for the exhibitors since its beginning.
As the first and only one international trade fair of its kind in Turkey, FOTEG ISTANBUL has the honor to carry the UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) Approved Event certificate, the highest seal of international quality. 653 exhibitors from 38 countries of which 188 are from Turkey and 465 from overseas were at FOTEG ISTANBUL 2012 to show their products, systems, processes and services.
There was intense dialogue all four days of the fair for the exhibitors of FOTEG ISTANBUL 2012. New business agreements and too many product sales had been made. International exhibitors seeking representatives in Turkey were also pleased with the event.
