Due to the prolong of the movie set of "The Butler", Lenny Kravitz had to postpone his Istanbul concert to 2013.
"I have been looking forward to these upcoming dates and very sorry that my concerts had to be postponed. I am currently in New Orleans working on a historical film called The Butler that I am contractually bound to finishing. I promise that I will be back next year. Looking forward to seeing you all in 2013."
A star with more than 30 million albums sold worldwide, Lenny Kravitz is getting ready to give one of the most memorable concerts of this autumn in Istanbul.
The singer of such hits as "Fly Away", "Are You Gonna Go My Way?" and "It Ain\'t over Till It\'s Over", Kravitz has been consecutively awarded with four Grammy awards for "Best Male Rock Vocal Performance" from 1999 to 2002.
Despite his childhood memories featuring family friends like Duke Ellington, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and Miles Davis, Kravitz has pursued a different musical path. Breaking into the scene with "Justify My Love" he wrote for Madonna, Kravitz continues to draw from rock, soul, pop, funk, hard rock and folk music.
