Sile  Sile is one of 32 administrational districts of Istanbul. It is situated on the North-west part of Turkey, at the north-east of Marmara region, in Catalca-Kocaeli section, on the Black Sea coast of Kocaeli peninsula. Sile is sourrounded by Kandira on the east, Gebze on the south, Kartal and Umraniye on the south-west, Beykoz on the west and Black Sea on the North. The district covers an area of 736 Km square. Sile is 55 Km away from Istanbul. All of its villages are reachable by tarmac or gravel roads.
